I've recently been talking with the Google LiveGame.Show team, based out of Area 120, the Google Incubator. They're looking to license HTML5 games for their new LiveGame.Show platform:

"LiveGame.Show is a game platform that lets users play quick, timed mini games by themselves, with friends, strangers, or streamers in real-time. Games last anywhere from 1 to 5 minutes."

What kinds of games?

TheyÔÇÖre looking for high quality HTML5 games that are ...

  • Simple. Games should be easy to understand and play within 15 secondsÔǪ without having to read rules.
  • Fast paced. Most games last less than 2 minutes. So games need to progress and score quickly.
  • Responsive. Games should play well across a variety of screen sizes, devices, and browsers.

WhatÔÇÖs in it for you?

Theyre committed to building LiveGame.Show into a 100M+ user social gaming platform. Once they do that, theyll provide a great way for you to reach millions of users every month with your games and theyll share revenue with you based on how often users play your games. In the meantime, until they get to scale, they are happy to pay you a licensing fee for your games.

Reach out to Bhavik - bhaviksingh@google.com or Ani - animohan@google.com if youÔÇÖre interested and tell them you're a Phaser patron. TheyÔÇÖll send you a developer guide that explains the platform further and gives you all the information needed to integrate your games with LiveGame.Show.

This is a great opportunity for a lot of you, especially those who have the right sort of portfolio of games that could be adapted for this new platform. It's always great to get in on a new platform early, so don't pass this up :)
